At the heart of everyone in By-Expressen is a love of riding our bikes, but we are so much more than just a bike messenger company, delivering goods from A to B.
By-Expressen is a progressive workplace whereby we do not adhere to the corporate norms within our society. We are rider owned and operated. We operate as a collective and rely upon everyone in the collective to care about their workplace and show initiative in any role they may take up. Everyone within By-Expressen has the ability to make change and is given an equal footing: no matter if it’s a co-owner, rider or dispatcher, everyone is paid the same hourly rate for the work they do. We are constantly optimising our workflow and bettering our working conditions together.
When we look to bring on someone new to the collective, abilities and speed of riding a bike play very little part into our decisions. We care more for someone that is genuinely interested in being part of this collective long term and actively engaging in any role they take on with a willingness to learn and develop.
